Books: Backlogs

Last summer my friend Mariella lent me the Emily series of Lucy Maud Montgomery, who is by the way one of my favorite authors. I still haven't gotten around to reading it. It's already a year now since she lent it to me. I feel kind of bad. So that's why last week, I arranged my books into order of reading it. Also, I took pictures of my books. I'd probably make a list of the books that I have and books that I want to include in my collection for my future library. For now, the books that I'm supposed to read are the following:

1. Emily of New Moon by LM Montgomery

2. Emily Climbs by LM Montgomery

3. Emily's Quest by LM Montgomery

4. The Pianist by Wladyslaw Szpilman

5. The Perelandra by CS Lewis

That will be for this month. I hope, I really hope I'd be able to finish reading it. Before, I would finish a book within a day. To some that might be long enough for one book. It's just that ever since I got my netbook, and a boyfriend (haha) I never really had time to read books. Well unless if the book greatly interests me. But so far, lately, I didn't get to read and finish any. So, that will be my target for this month. Reviews will follow accordingly so please watch out for it. :D

Music, Books and Cats

Hello! My first entry! Well, what should I say? Uh, welcome? Welcome!!!

I am Misty. I am the creator of this blog. :)

As the name of this blog suggests, the entries here will mostly be about music, books and cats.

And I am a lover of those three.

For one, I am a music student in one of the universities here in the Philippines. I play the piano. I love singing although I don't have much of a good voice. (tehehe) I also play the trumpet, guitar, flute. I'm still learning to play the violin. :) I like classical music. I also like other musical genres. I have a certain fondness of musicals as well.

I like reading books, especially children's literature but I also read novels from fiction, adventure, fantasy, to drama, romance, mystery and suspense. One of my plans in the future is to have my own library inside my home.

And oh cats! I love cats! They're so cute and adorable. They're sweet but can be mean too when not fed. Haha. I have 5 pet cats. They are of no special breed but I love them a lot. :D

I'm looking forward to updating this blog as much as I can.
